I was drowning in overwhelm, exhausted beyond belief, and deeply unhappy in my own body when I had a lightbulb moment: I couldn't be the mom and wife I wanted to be if I kept putting myself last. So I started a learn-to-run group where running healed me- it was just me, the pavement, and my thoughts. What began as a desperate attempt to reclaim some energy became my healing sanctuary, helping me process the grief and loss I'd been carrying for so long.
